6309 vehicles

In addition to its special history, the number of 1M Coupés produced is also particularly special.

A total of 6,342 units were built, of which 6,309 were for sale. The remaining units were prototypes, crash tests, and test vehicles that never received regular road approval.

In the construction period from 2011 to 2012, not many vehicles were built, even by the standards of the time.

This means that the 1M Coupé falls directly under the "Classic" classification at BMW (30 years or less than 10,000 units)

There was no marking by BMW.

Now we at #1ermregister thought it would be great to point out this exclusivity.

And since we have the starting chassis numbers of the production, we can even determine the production number based on the chassis number. So not "one of 6309," but individual!

After a long search to find a manufacturer who

1. meets our high quality standards
2. Ready is not series production but individual production per production number

We are pleased to have realized the plaque shown.

A brushed stainless steel plaque measuring 73x35x1mm, punched to create "soft" corners (unlike laser cutting, which creates sharp edges), and then laser-engraved with a unique production number. The plaque is backed with 3M 468 self-adhesive film.

We looked inside the car to see where all vehicles worldwide are "the same" – and we concluded that it's the center console area. (Image to follow)

Here, we provide an installation guide using a template; this is, of course, only a recommendation from us. The sticker can also be mounted in other locations. However, the official recommendation makes this a clear identifying feature.

Last but not least:

As a highlight, we were able to inspire the then M boss, Kay Segler, with our project. Kay Segler himself is a key figure in the 1M project "Pyrat" (see video: Kay Segler - Member of the #1ermregister ). And so you will find his signature on the plaque and soon in many 1Ms!
